A weekend of walks, talks, and activities celebrating the island’s unique geology, organised by the Arran Geopark Project
This year’s Geofest is taking place over the weekend of 13th – 15th September
Arran is well known for it’s exceptional geology. The Arran Geopark project aims to explain, protect and to make this unique geology more accessible . Over the next 18 months the Geopark project will develop 3 interpretation centres, and 6 geology walks on Arran. This will be supported by a number of ‘rock’ events and a Geology Festival.
