Arran’s community radio station, ArranSound.com is holding a writing competition this month in conjunction with author Barb Taub. For more details see below.
Arransound.com has been broadcasting Barb Taub’s hilarious and informative books over the last month and listeners have told us how much they are enjoying Barb’s readings.
We thought that as some of you have previously sent in poems and stories to Arransound.com, you might like to have a go at something a little more adventurous.
WHAT IS THE ONE THING THAT WILL ALWAYS DEFINE THE TERM “VACATION” FOR YOU?
How about the time everything went fabulously right? Or hilariously wrong? Or completely, epically unforgettable? If you think you can write an interesting description of your holiday then please get down to writing your story right now and share your holiday dramas with Arransound.com!
The competition is to write a short chapter, based on YOUR holiday experiences, real or imagined, at home or abroad. Barb herself will be judging them and will narrate the winning story and runners up, on Arransound.com
The winner and runners up will also win a copy of Barb’s book, “Life begins when the kids leave home and the dog dies”, with the supreme winner receiving the fabulous and absolutely latest, Kindle Fire Tablet.
