Arran Civic Trust Apprenticeships

Arran Civic Trust Apprenticeship Opportunity

Arran Civic Trust aims to encourage, develop and preserve traditional skills. Apprenticeships are one way of opening up opportunities to gain the necessary experience towards employment in these areas.

If you are thinking of applying for an apprenticeship or are already enrolled in such a scheme you may well need help to buy equipment or materials. Arran Civic Trust is offering a grant to help towards this.

In order to apply for funds, please introduce yourself and send a short resume of the skills you hope to acquire and the tools or materials you may need, to David Scott at

For more information on the Arran Civic Trust please see their website

Arran Civic Trust aims:
• To stimulate public interest in, and care for, the beauty, history and character of the island and its surroundings.
• To encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of public amenity or historic interest.
• To encourage high standards of architecture and planning on Arran.
• To pursue these ends by means of public meetings, exhibitions, lectures, publications, conferences and publicity and the promotion of schemes of a charitable nature.
