JazzMain remains one of the most acclaimed, renowned, and respected groups performing today and since 2003, undertaking hundreds of gigs across the UK and Ireland. The quartet is led by acclaimed tenor saxophonist Nick Gould, with Steve Grossart (keys), Iain Harkness (electric 5-string bass) and Kevin Dorrian (drums), making up this very engaging four-piece. In the performance in Brodick this month, JazzMain will be joined by Joni Keen and Marna Murdoch. Joni is a well known figure throughout the island not only for her business activities, but also her talent as a singer. She has released many albums and is signed to Circular Records in Edinburgh and is often heard on BBC radio programmes performing with her band.
