Open Day at AOEC

Thursday 6th April, 10 – 3pm, Clauchlands, Lamlash

A chance to see the great facilities at the Arran Outdoor Education Centre. Last month the Centre was saved from closure, thanks to a fantastic campaign by the local community. If you live on Arran or are visiting the island over Easter, you can go and meet the team, hear about their work, and what the children get up to when they visit…

A message from the Centre:

We are often approached by members of the Arran Community and wider public saying that they have never been in the Centre or that they don’t fully understand what it is that we do or how the Centre operates year round.

With that in mind, we have decided to have a drop in/come and see us event on the 6th of April between 10am – 3pm.

We would love to show you all round our wonderful Centre, explain our School programmes and highlight some of our partnership working, both here on Arran and on the mainland. We can give you an insight to some of our public RYA courses that we offer, and we will have our climbing wall available for a try too!

So, if you are at a loose end or would like to come and have a look around, chat with the staff team & sample some home baking then we would love to see you!
