Arran Mountain Festival booking lines now open

2022 Arran Mountain Festival booking lines are now open on

The festival will take place 13th – 16th May

This year’s programme features an exciting mix of mountain walks, a traverse of the A’Chir ridge, coached mountain running sessions, guided mountain biking, hill navigation tuition, and – a first for the festival – a poetry walk! Scottish poet and mountaineer Stuart Campbell, a well-kent face at the Arran Mountain Festival, will lead this contemplative walk which will offer participants the opportunity to collaborate in creating a poem about the day.

Listening to your feedback from last year, an “Introduction to map & compass” session features again in our programme, and we have added a consolidation session too.

The not-for-profit, volunteer-run festival works hard to offer guided mountain activities at low prices, promoting responsible, inclusive, wellbeing- and health-boosting outdoor access, showcasing Arran’s incredible mountains and wildlife. To be able to achieve this, AMF rely on the support of the Arran community in the form of volunteer organisers and activity leaders as well as sponsorship.
