100 Stitched Stories – Whiting Bay Memories
A creative community project in anticipation of the 100 year anniversary of Whiting Bay Hall
A message from Fiona Doubleday, one of the project organisers:
The project is for everyone. We launch on Monday 16th January 11 – 1pm in Whiting Bay village hall where there will be a chance to find out about the project and meet the memories team. We will then come together once a month (first Monday of each month) to share our progress and have a natter with tea and cake. All levels of experience are most welcome. It is a chance to work on our own creative pieces while being aware of the totality of the community project. We use the term stich very loosely to include things like knitting, crochet, weaving, and felting
