St Molaise Feast Day Pilgrimage Tour to Holy Isle

On Tuesday 18th of April, Lamlash Cruises are providing a special guided tour from Lamlash to Saint Molaise’s Cave on Holy Isle on the Feast Day of Saint Molaise. During the 6th century, this Christian Saint lived in hermitage on Holy Isle for 10 years.

The tour will include a crossing to Holy Isle and a guided walk to St Molaise’s Cave and to the adjacent ancient Healing Spring. The walk is just over a mile there and back, is mainly flat with some minor inclines and with a stepping stone staircase up to the entrance of the cave. Join us for this peaceful opportunity to reflect on his life and his influences.

The tour will commence at 10.30am and return to Lamlash by 1.30pm.
