The Open Studios Weekend, now in its sixth year will once again feature many local artists, working in a wide variety of disciplines including painting, drawing, etching, sculpture, pottery, needlework, jewellery and furniture. This year’s dates are:

This year Arran Open Studios brings you ‘The Biscuit Tin initiative’. You will find these tins, courtesy of Paterson’s of Arran, at various venues around the island. The Ormidale Brodick, COAST restaurant Whiting Bay, Fiddlers music bar, Brodick, to name a few. Inside the tin you will find, blank postcards, writing/drawing materials and the idea is that anyone can write a poem, do a drawing, leave in the tin and we will gather them together after the event. Hopefully we will find somewhere to exhibit them at the end of the summer.
We want to get everyone involved in being creative, so pick up a pen, grab a pencil and create something, anything you like!
