Arran Arts Open Day

Saturday 13th January from 11am to 3pm

Ormidale Pavilion, Brodick

Arran has a rich artistic life across the whole spectrum of the arts.

For some time Arran Theatre and Arts Trust has wanted to seek the views of the Arran community as to how it sees the future of the arts on the island and how ATAT could help towards realising that. The arts are also an important feature of the Island Plan Community Strand and therefore it seems appropriate that the voice of the arts is expressed clearly in that forum.

In order to celebrate the diversity and quality of arts activity on Arran and encourage the community to find out more about what is going on, an arts open day on Saturday 13th January 2024 will take place from 11am to 3pm at the Ormidale Pavilion.

Various island arts and crafts organisations will set up “stalls” to illustrate their activities alongside a rolling programme of musical entertainment and refreshments. There will also be the opportunity of meeting our Arts Co- Ordinator, Eoghann McColl, and offering suggestions for the future.

So come along and find out about various island arts and crafts organisations currently doing amazing things on Arran – the island has a rich artistic life across the whole spectrum of the arts.

All welcome to this free informative and inspirational event!
