New supply boat launched
John Kinsman
A work boat named Helen Burnie has been built by the MacDuff Shipyard in MacDuff Harbour and is now on the way to Oban, after completing sea trails and tests. 27.75 metres long, the vessel was constructed for Inverlussa Marine Services, based on the Isle of Mull. It is designed as a support boat for a wide range of projects, including renewable energy, diving and surveying, and will start a contract in Shetland delivering feed to fish farms.
